Instructional Design and Multimedia Development Specialist
Contract Length: 6 months plus potential extension
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid 3 days onsite in downtown Dallas)

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Instructional Design and Multimedia Development Specialist with expertise in online and video-based learning technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, multimedia production, and the latest e-learning tools. This role will involve designing, developing, and implementing engaging training programs that meet the needs of our client s workforce, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Multimedia Production, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in training development, specifically focused on online and video-based learning.
  • Proficiency in e-learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia.
  • Experience with graphic design, animation, and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Articulate, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to innovate training solutions and think outside the box.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and assessment tools.
  • Knowledge of coding languages (e.g., HTML5, CSS) to enhance e-learning development.
  • Previous experience in a corporate training environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop engaging online and video-based learning modules using industry-standard e-learning tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and create content that aligns with defined learning objectives.
  • Incorporate multimedia elements like animations, graphics, and interactive components to create immersive and engaging learning experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in instructional design and e-learning to enhance the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, offering recommendations for program improvements.
