The Senior Web Developer will support a project, scoped to include the migration of legacy web content on FarCry Content Management System to an existing WordPress solution. The selected Candidate will be required to comply with data security and use policy. This developer shall be responsible for executing the completion of an agency project to migrate web content from FarCry Content Management System. This work will take the approach of lift and shift with no new content generated for this effort. This work shall entail ensuring migration of applications to lower environments and the production environment. This will require ensuring version control of the content and syncing connections between the respective environments. Regular change management and security scan processes will be observed for this effort. Any and all work shall be finally approved by application development leadership and the agency s web master to ensure consistent use of coding and security standards and long-term support. Candidates must understand project organization and methodology within Agile (Scrum) organizations. Developer must understand business and technical objectives of a project and work closely with multiple key project stakeholders. They are responsible for communication to clients and managing IT team members. They shall contribute to project plans, status reports, and other related project artifacts, as necessary. They shall provide technical documentation, communication, and technical support as necessary. Candidates must be able to comprehend and communicate complex technical designs and implementations as well as complex business processes. They shall participate in the development and execution of presentations as required to leadership and oversight entities.

7 Required Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Web Programming skills and API s.
7 Required Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, specifically the ability to communicate with business and IT representatives.
5 Required Highly experienced in WordPress development and content platform migration.
3 Required Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards.
3 Required Ability to analyze current systems, content and functionality to migrate and recreate in new systems and platforms.
3 Required Experience working on an agile scrum development team to evaluate user stories and size tasks.
1 Preferred Previous experience with Coldfusion, Farcry and/or Mura.
1 Preferred Proficient with the Microsoft O365 products, including Microsoft Azure DevOps, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
1 Preferred Knowledge of the common design practices, standards, and technologies associated with application accessibility (e.g., WCAG, ADA, Section 508)
