Delta's Salesforce COE is responsible for enabling all business units who adopt Salesforce products this means you need to be naturally curious, driven to understand by asking questions, focused on optimization, willing to explain to less experienced team members both in IT and the business, and able to quickly pivot between diverse business units with widely differing goals. It's critical as a member of the COE to be a standard-bearer for best practices, Salesforce knowledge, and making Delta a better place.
We are looking for a highly skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Architect with 5 - 10 years of experience developing solutions. This individual must have a deep understanding of marketing automation and subject matter expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end architecture for Marketing Cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and alignment with business goals.
- Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements, define success criteria, and assess level of effort while identifying technical risks and requirements.
- Establish integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other systems using API, file transfers, and out-of-the-box connectors.
- Ensure solutions are compliant with Delta Air Lines information security, privacy and legal standards.
- Enable and train users to use the platform to self-service communications.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
- Experience developing accessible and heavily dynamic emails and landing pages utilizing HTML/CSS, AMPscript, and JavaScript.
- Proven ability to design consent models using relational database schemas and document them.
- Expertise in segmenting data using SQL and building marketing automations using Journey Builder, Cloudpages, and Automation Studio.
- Deep understanding of integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other systems through batched files, SOAP API, and REST API.
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

- Accomplishments including BI integrations with Salesforce Marketing Cloud as a data source.
- Background with SMS enablement implementation including short code and long code provisioning.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology.

- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant Certification.
