- 5+ Years of Project Management experience
- Strong leadership skills and a basic understanding of IT infrastructure and how the IT components interact via network communications (Firewall, VIP, F5 Listener, Port, etc.)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification highly desired.

Interview Process: Virtual Interview via MS Teams video. Any 2nd round interviews to be held in person. Use of headphones is strongly discouraged. A screenshot photo of candidate will be required for any Teams interviews as well as a vendor present at beginning of interview to validate candidate.
Duration: 1 year with possible extension.
Remote or On-site: Candidates MUST be local at time of submission. Hiring manager is not currently interested in candidates who will need to relocate to accept offer. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Position will be hybrid work schedule with 2 days a week onsite (Wednesdays being mandatory).
What you ll be doing
- Showcase your leadership abilities and understanding of IT infrastructure components such as networks, servers, storage, web, and virtual/cloud environments.
- Assist in assessing technical needs and offer solutions that align with business goals, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
- Lead and manage one or more large-scale, complex projects, providing oversight and ensuring accountability.
- Collaborate with vendors, handle intricate schedules, and integrate with other systems for successful project execution.
- Engage in projects lasting longer than 6 months, involving teams of 20+ members and coordination with agency leadership, navigating medium to high-risk scenarios.
Your responsibilities include
- Ensuring alignment with project management methods, systems engineering, and investment management methodologies.
- Creating detailed long-term release plans in line with organizational direction.
- Regularly communicating with project teams regarding the status of budget, quality, and scheduling.
- Escalating potential risks or issues to executives and implementing quality control measures to meet project expectations.
The ideal candidate has
- 5+ years of Project Management experience.
- Stellar communication and collaboration skills.
- An esteemed Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is highly desirable.
