  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Express Employment is looking for a Production Manager for a local distribution center in the Southwest Dallas/Red Bird area.

Job Duties
  • Oversee the production department and be a liaison when supervisors have issues.
  • Will have 4-6 direct reports.
  • Production team of 12 lines with 60 direct employees off peak and 120 during peak season.
  • Production scheduler of multiple lines with multiple people.
  • Ability to read and understand a forecast.
  • Demand Planning Tools.
  • Material oversight for production needs. Ordering of materials through issuing of PO’s.
  • Involved in relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Annual evaluations of direct reports. Involvement in evaluation of next level reports.
  • Coordination with temp agencies to maintain correct labor.
  • Long term production planning.
  • Involved in costing of new programs. Verify correct time needed to produce an item.
  • In charge of employee celebration and team building activities within production team.
  • Daily time and attendance using ADP system
  • Daily production reporting
  • Monthly reporting and Metrics
  • Continuous Improvement involvement
  • Conducting annual performance evaluations and setting of goals and expectations
  • Initiatives around efficiencies
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
  • Previous Experience as a Production Manager/Production Supervisor in a warehouse setting
  • Warehousing Experience
  • Previous Experience overseeing multiple Production lines in warehouse setting.
  • Overseeing anywhere from 80-120 people

Pay: $50,000 - $60,000 starting salary plus production and performance bonuses.

Schedule: Day shift (6:30 AM to 3:30 PM) M-F with an occasional weekend thrown in there.
