Essential Details:
  • Internship Duration: Our internship program will be 9 weeks, with a start date of June 3rd, and ending July 31st.
  • Hybrid Work Schedule: Work remotely on Mondays and join us in the office Tuesdays - Thursdays with no work on Fridays – enjoy your 3-day weekend!
  • Office Location: Join us at our vibrant & amazing office, located at 1221 Brickell Ave, Miami, FL
  • Work Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the US
  • Location: Must be based in Miami, FL with no relocation accepted


As a Boats Group Software Development Intern, you'll play a key role in supporting projects that enhance documentation, improve system clarity, and drive application functionality. This position offers hands-on experience with software development workflows, documentation best practices, and application localization efforts.

Over the summer, you'll work on projects, tackle daily tasks, and work collaboratively with our team. In general, your responsibilities will include:
  • Participating in daily standups to discuss progress, collaborate with team members, and tackle assigned development tasks
  • Learning and understanding the translation process, working with the team and Product Owner to request and implement new translations as needed.
  • Attend all team meetings to build relationships, gain insight into team dynamics, and develop a deeper understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.


We know you're just starting your career. But here are a few things that you should have to succeed in this internship:
  • Familiarity with Java 8 and Node.js for software development tasks.
  • Basic understanding of system design principles and application architecture.
  • Experience with version control systems such as GitHub and Bitbucket for code collaboration and deployment.
