Role: Cognos + ETL Lead

Responsibilities:

  • Extensive Experience in Cognos reporting.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Work extensively with SQL Server and create optimized Stored Procedures for data transformation.
  • Implement and maintain ETL workflows using TimeXtender Discovery Hub.
  • Develop and optimize data integration solutions using SSIS.
  • Utilize Python for data transformation and scripting needs.
  • Work closely with business and analytics teams to understand data needs and optimize performance.
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and security best practices are followed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related technical issues.
  • Stay updated with modern data engineering trends and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • [15+] years of experience in data engineering and ETL development.
  • Good and hands-on experience with Cognos.
  • Very good knowledge of SQL Server and Stored Procedures.
  • Good and hands-on experience with TimeXtender Discovery Hub.
  • Good and hands-on experience with SSIS.
  • Good and hands-on experience with Python for ETL workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Nice to have knowledge of Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience in cloud-based data solutions.
  • Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
