About the Role:

The Director of Supply & Demand Planning will lead Dr. Squatch's Supply & Demand Planning team and be responsible for S&OP, demand forecasting, supply planning, node/network optimizations, and people development.

This role will report to the VP of Strategic Operations.

This full-time on-site role is based out of Dr. Squatch HQ in Marina Del Rey, CA.

The anticipated base compensation for this role will be $160,000 to $180,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local market rates.

What You'll Do:

  • S&OP
    • Own end-to-end cross-functional Sales & Operations planning process, including facilitating exec-level forecasting and purchasing decisions
    • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Commercialization to ensure that strategic business decisions are incorporated in operating plans
    • Manage Excess & Obsolete workstream to optimize inventory carrying levels
    • Measure, control, and improve S&OP plan accuracy through clearly defined metrics
  • Demand Planning and Forecasting
    • Manage and generate SKU and Account-level forecasts to achieve forecast accuracy objectives
    • Facilitate meetings with Marketing, Finance, and Retail to ensure forecasting objectives are achieved
    • Analyze account-specific trends to determine risks and opportunities by account
    • Analyze new product launches to determine risks and opportunities
    • Quantify new product launches utilizing historical data
    • Validate, prepare, and present a base/upside demand plan
    • Ability to articulate the demand on an account basis implementing different business scenarios
  • Supply Planning
    • Oversee supply operations to ensure timely delivery of finished goods to support omnichannel business
    • Determine inventory planning strategies to optimize turns, margin, and customer experience
    • Consistently review Material Requirement Planning (MRP) systems to manage inventory levels efficiently, ensuring the right materials are available for production
    • Partner with sourcing and other cross-functional teams to communicate the operational impact of planning, sourcing, or product decisions
    • Determine future network capacity needs; lead supply planning team in new product launch initiatives and SKU cutover planning
  • Network Optimization
    • Optimize inventory levels through strategic analysis, balancing carrying costs with service level requirements to minimize stockouts and excess inventory
    • Assess and optimize the manufacturing network across all facilities for operational efficiency
