Are you ready to help top-tier brands accelerate their growth and shape the future of retail? Our client, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to engage with key decision-makers, build strong relationships, and generate high-value sales opportunities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with innovative brands across diverse industries, including retail, entertainment, and media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish initial contact with key decision-makers at target enterprise brands using a multi-channel outreach strategy (phone, email, social media, events, video).
  • Develop compelling, tailored messaging to engage prospects and secure meetings with brand stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify needs, pain points, and opportunities within retail and digital channels, generating high-value leads.
  • Focus on PLTFRM’s target account list, using creative methods to schedule meetings with high-priority brands.
  • Nurture opportunities and build a solid pipeline of leads to set up the sales team for success.
  • Leverage sales technologies such as HubSpot, Sales Navigator, and other tools to identify and convert prospects into valuable opportunities.
  • Attend tradeshows, conventions, and industry events to network and expand your prospect base.
  • Work closely with the Sales & Revenue leadership team to refine and optimize outbound sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with external partners to identify co-marketing and joint initiatives for further business growth.
  • Position yourself as a thought leader on social platforms and in meetings, promoting your company’s expertise in brand management and retail strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2+ years of experience in sales or business development, ideally working with consumer businesses.
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, especially in enterprise-level sales.
  • Expertise in outbound selling and converting unengaged prospects into high-value opportunities using modern sales techniques.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using tools like HubSpot, Sales Navigator, and similar platforms to drive pipeline growth.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage executives and decision-makers.
  • Comfortability to travel domestically as needed
