DevOps/SRE Manager

I am currently partnering with a leading health imaging platform who is looking for a DevOps/SRE Manager to join the team! You will be responsible for driving execution on critical infrastructure and MLOps initiatives while effectively communicating their strategic importance to leadership. You will be mentoring and leading a small team, prioritizing important infrastructure projects, and ensuring successful delivery of their platform capabilities.

DevOps/SRE Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute infrastructure and MLOps initiatives, driving technical decisions, and ensuring alignment with business priorities and timelines.


• Develop and implement infrastructure roadmaps, and effectively communicate progress, challenges, and resource needs to leadership.


• Mentor and grow a small team of infrastructure engineers, fostering technical excellence and promoting best practices.


• Architect and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions that support both internal development and production deployments.


• Guide the team in developing infrastructure solutions for deployments across internal and customer cloud environments.


• Establish and maintain best infrastructure practices that balance reliability, efficiency, security, and compliance requirements.


• Partner with software engineers and data scientists to understand their infrastructure needs and translate them into actionable solutions.


• Ensure infrastructure and implementations align with security best practices and regulatory requirements.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 10 years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure roles, with 3+ years leading infrastructure or MLOps initiatives.


• Experience in mentoring small teams.


• Strong communication skills with experience in presenting technical concepts to leadership and stakeholders.


• AWS Cloud


• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)


• Terraform (IaC tools)


• Able to architect and implement MLOps solutions


• Monitoring Tools (Prometheus and Grafana)


• Logging Systems (ELK Stack)


• Familiar with compliance requirements in regulated industries.
