Role Overview:
We are seeking a Product Manager with experience in pharmaceutical retail sales to drive the development and execution of innovative solutions in the pharmaceutical retail sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical sales, product lifecycle management, and retail pharmacy operations. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, technology, and regulatory affairs, to ensure product success and compliance in a highly regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute a product roadmap for pharmaceutical retail solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct research on pharmaceutical retail trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings to identify growth opportunities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and technology teams to ensure product-market fit and successful go-to-market strategies.
- Retail Pharmacy Operations: Leverage expertise in retail pharmacy operations, including prescription management, compliance, inventory control, and customer engagement, to enhance product offerings.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all product initiatives comply with pharmaceutical regulations (FDA, HIPAA, etc.) and industry best practices.
- Sales Enablement: Develop sales tools, training materials, and go-to-market strategies to support sales teams in driving product adoption.
- Performance Metrics & Optimization: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and gather customer feedback to continuously improve products.
- Technology & Digital Solutions: Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to enhance digital pharmacy experiences, including e-prescription platforms, CRM integrations, and mobile applications.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on pharmaceutical retail sales or healthcare solutions.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical retail operations, including pharmacy chains, independent pharmacies, and healthcare providers.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with digital pharmacy platforms, prescription management systems, and retail pharmacy technology.
- Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of pharmaceutical and healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, FDA, and drug pricing policies.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, market trends, and financial reports to inform product decisions.
- Communication & Leadership: Excellent communication and leadership skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Pharmacy, Healthcare Management, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications (PMP, Scrum, etc.) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with e-commerce pharmacy platforms or digital healthcare solutions.
- Familiarity with pharmacy reimbursement models, drug pricing strategies, and patient engagement solutions.
- Experience managing B2B and B2C pharmaceutical products in retail environments.
