HonestRx Consulting has an exciting career opportunity for an Account Manager. The primary focus of the Account Manager is to establish and maintain a good working relationship with their broker partners and clients. The Account Manager is responsible for client retention, renewal, and overall plan satisfaction. The Account Manager provides basic benefit consulting and training on an ongoing basis and facilitates the resolution of issues pertaining to the client. In addition, they ensure that all client deliverables are on time, accurate, and meet the needs of the client. The Account Manager will demonstrate excellent client services through resourcefulness with a high level of initiative.

What You'll Do

  • Primary point of contact for broker and client.
  • Responsible for onboarding new clients, gathers pertinent information on the account and sets up client profile and client folders.
  • Maintains master client list and client files
  • Provides support at implementations; acts as liaison between PBM, client and broker.
  • Works with PBM account team to obtain plan design information, formulary update impact, rebate payment information.
  • Ensures PBM agreements are executed and in client files.
  • Assists Audit team with identifying and initiating annual audits for their clients including facilitation of audit agreement execution between client and PBM.
  • Assists Underwriting Team with identifying and prioritizing upcoming RFPs for current book of business
  • Reviews and evaluates PBM recommendations and new programs; advises broker/client on appropriateness for each client.
  • Ensures PBMs provide member impact for formulary updates; works with Clinical team to provide analysis and recommendations.
  • Conducts in-person meetings with clients/brokers at least 2x annually.
  • Establishes regular touch base calls with clients and/or broker partners.
  • Updates client and broker contacts on the marketing communication mailing list.
  • Keeps abreast of industry and market trends
  • Identify, research, isolate, resolve, and follow up on all reported client issues.
  • Escalate more complex issues to management as appropriate.
  • Log and manage all open issues.
  • Document and retain all information pertaining to client’s program.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as an Account Manger role in in pharmacy benefits and account management.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective presentation skills for face-to-face meetings.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office application.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and develop solutions effectively.
  • Ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds.

Compensation:

The target salary range for this position is $85,000 to $110,000 (US Dollar) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
