ePUMPS is looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team in Tulsa, OK!

As a Sales Engineer you will be responsible for generating a forecasted sales/gross margin and managing all aspects of sales and customer service in specific assigned territory and accounts. The Sales Engineer also develops and nurtures relationships with account decision makers to influence purchasing decisions and to maximize ePUMPS competitive position. You will be seen as a "solutions provider" by our customers and is expected to professionally represent ePUMPS and our vendor partners.

What You'll Do

Calls on decision makers in the marketplace, specifically Oil & Gas, Power and Chemical, who are in a position to specify or purchase ePUMPS products and servicesWork in collaboration with rotating equipment engineers and maintenance professionals to solve problemsConducts product presentations and demonstrations to enhance the knowledge and product awareness of current and potential customersEstablishes rapport and engages in joint sales calls with manufacturers ePUMPS represents in the marketplaceAttends and participates in sales and other company meetings as requiredMaintains high knowledge level of products, processes, and the latest industry trendsProperly load and fasten equipment in the back of a pickup truckEntertains customers and/or vendors including after hours to strengthen relationships.Provides start-up service and support when requiredPerform failure analysis of mechanical equipment and report findingsManage equipment performance improvement programs, report actions and results in quarterly meetingsOther duties may be assigned.

What You'll Need

Engineering or technical degree and/or rotating equipment experience preferredProficient in using Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, and CRM software (Selltis a plus)Valid drivers' license with clean driving recordStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Influential customer service skills and accomplished at building relationshipsAbility to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyAccomplished at working independently and as an active member of a teamCustomer centric focus (internal and external customers)Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and CRM/Selltis experience preferredComfortable making cold calls and talking to peopleMechanical aptitude; An understanding of rotating equipment, fabrication/manufacturing of equipment and machine shop practices preferredAbility to interpret industry standards and engineering specifications (API and ASME)Prior plant experience preferredPerks of Working with OTC Industrial Technologies:Health and WellnessMedical, dental, and vision care coverageShort-and long-term disability coverage, and life insuranceWellness DiscountSafety shoes & glasses reimbursement stipend
