Client Service Associate
Our client, a leading asset management firm based in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Client Associate to join one of their top-performing Wealth Advisor teams, overseeing approximately $2B in AUM. This individual will play a vital role in supporting daily client service operations, serving as a primary point of contact between Wealth Advisors, Portfolio Managers, Operations teams, and clients. Key responsibilities include facilitating new account openings, managing ongoing account maintenance—such as fund disbursements, transfers, and billing—and ensuring clients receive timely updates and support. The Client Associate will also handle administrative tasks, assist with marketing initiatives, and coordinate across internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a client service or support role within the financial services industry and must hold active Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
- Provide daily operational support and promptly address client service requests.
- Act as the primary liaison between Wealth Advisors, Portfolio Managers, Operations teams, and clients.
- Initiate the new account opening process and guide clients through the completion of required documentation.
- Manage various account maintenance activities, such as processing fund disbursements, updating addresses, facilitating charitable contributions, handling transfers, managing billing, and executing client-directed trade orders.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients regarding account updates, performance reviews, documentation, and general inquiries.
- Update and manage client account records and the new business pipeline within the Salesforce database.
- Handle administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, drafting correspondence, filing, and coordinating travel arrangements and expense reporting.
- Support marketing initiatives by organizing client outreach, tracking event participation, and assisting in the preparation of presentations.
