The Financial Analyst will report to the Vice President of Finance and will be responsible for providing insightful financial analysis and recommendations that support strategic decision-making and enhance the financial performance of the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting, along with excellent communication skills to present findings to stakeholders.

What You'll do...

• Assisting in the order to cash process including generating, distributing invoices and cash collections.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, highlighting key metrics and insights.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and financial health.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, collaborating with department heads to gather necessary inputs.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budgeted figures, providing explanations for discrepancies and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Prepare long-term financial forecasts and scenarios to support strategic planning initiatives.
• Create and maintain complex financial models to support business cases, investment evaluations, and project analyses.
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess potential financial impacts of strategic decisions.
• Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support for operational and strategic initiatives.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reports as required to support management decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies; assist with audits and regulatory reporting as necessary.
• Support the development and implementation of financial controls and processes to mitigate risks.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree or CFA certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills; experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Requires prolonged periods of sitting, standing and walking throughout the workday, including during meetings, site visits (if applicable), or operational tasks.
• May involve occasional travel to which could include extended periods away from the primary workplace (if applicable and approved).
• Hybrid role (3 min. days in office required).
  
  

Salary: 75k to 85k
