General Description
Tyonek Services Group, Inc. is seeking an H-47 Project Manager in support of medium lift helicopter program requirements. This individual will be responsible for the technical leadership of all H-47 projects to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations including flight, maintenance, quality, and schedule while maintaining company objectives. The Project Manager ensures that projects and Task Orders within H-47 programs produce the required deliverables within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits as defined by the Program Manager. Contributes to corporate and program process improvement initiatives as it relates to improvement of the Quality Management System and adheres to quality and production control guidelines throughout the life cycle of the program. This includes management of issues, risks, and change requests to ensure successful and on-time CDRL delivery.

Duties
- Responsible for technical oversight of projects and task orders within quality, and schedule constraints
- Coordinates the efforts of the functional departments, as required, to ensure that projects are conducted in accordance with the requirements of the contract and statements of work.
- Acts as primary contact for assigned integration activities, leading technical performance.
- Familiar with a variety of aviation systems, related concepts, and practices and procedures.
- Contributes to the development of budgets, resources, and deadlines.
- Contributes to the development of project schedules and project deliverables.
- Communicates goals, scope, technical approach, and schedule requirements to the Project Team.
- Constantly assesses project performance and formulates, organizes, and monitors progress reports.
- Must possess superior communication skills with experience in interfacing directly with the government Contracting Officer's Representatives, and customer designated representatives.
- Innovation, flexibility, and initiative are important attributes, as well as the ability to work under unusual or extreme pressures.
- Must have excellent risk, change, and resource management skills.
- Facilitates the planning and execution of Ferry Flights, Maintenance Test Flights, Maintenance Operational Checks, track and balance, vibration checks and special testing as required.
- Conducts any other integration and/or support efforts as needed or directed.
- Provides detailed and effective communications with flight and ground maintenance personnel as well as the customer on results of flight, maintenance and engineering/integration activities.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as deemed necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in aviation maintenance or business preferred.
- Must be a graduate of the CH-47 Medium Helicopter Repairer Course.
- Must be a graduate of the Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course/ Advanced Leaders Course.
- Must be a graduate of the H-47 Flight Engineer Instructor Course and have 10 years' experience as a Flight Engineer on CH-47/F and/or MH-47G aircraft.
- Must have a minimum of fifteen (15) years' experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Must have five (5) years' experience working in an aviation flight test environment.
- Must hold a valid, current FAA or military Class III Medical Certificate.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Meet all requirements as a Non-Rated Crewmember IAW service guidance for specific design, type, series aircraft for which duties are to be performed in.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification desired but not required.

- Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for up to twelve (12) hours per day and sit for up to eight (8) hours per day.
- Must be able to perform non-rated crewmember duties during flight operations.
- Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
- Must be able to climb stairs.
- Must be able to grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.
- Must be able to see aircraft in flight, read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.
- Must be physically capable of climbing vertical ladders or aircraft steps to heights of 10-12 feet.
- May be exposed to chemical mist, gas, vapors, ultra-violet and infrared radiation.
- May be required to lift fifty (50) pounds to a height of four (4) feet and be required to lift twenty (20) pounds to a height of seven (7) feet.
- May be exposed to rapid or extreme temperature changes.
