Product Marketing Director, New York Region | Contractor

The Product Marketing team partners closely with the Product team to determine the strategic direction and positioning of products, drives campaigns when rolling out new products, and optimizes current features to support user growth, engagement, and retention. We are hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager who is passionate about our technology and has a strong understanding of the New York Market, our customer base in New York City customer to help grow usage, bring new products to market effectively in New York.

We're looking for a results-driven Product Marketer to support marketing efforts for our core rider experiences and product offerings in New York City. This role will entail a combination of product strategy, cross-functional collaboration and developing positioning, go-to-market strategies and growth for new and existing products.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Be the voice and expert of our audience in New York. Synthesize user insights, industry trends, and competitive intel to develop recommendations for marketing and product strategies. Support novel research to better understand opportunities in the market.
Leverage behavioral data and user insights to develop GTM plans that grow current product suite and fuel new product launches.
Rapidly experiment and iterate to improve KPIs such as adoption and retention. Work to understand and share the impact and learnings from initiatives you're driving.
Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design, etc., to drive product strategy and shape the product roadmap for New York City.
Develop and execute on creative briefs to inform creative and copy teams on campaign design and partner with Marketing Ops for launch and measurement
Build evergreen lifecycle strategies to drive ongoing product adoption and business impact

Role Specifics:
Contractor role, 4 month contract
40 hours per week

Mandatory:
Proven experience bringing multiple offerings across multiple b2b and b2c GTM plans simultaneously.
Strong preference for someone based in or near New York City, with strong familiarity with using rideshare in New York
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with both analytical and creative teams
12+ years experience in Marketing with 7+ years in Product Marketing, including comprehensive GTM strategies and implementation

Experience developing strategies to solve ambiguous and complex problems
Experience in applying consumer insights and behavioral science to optimize marketing strategies; ability to independently drive marketing experimentation
Must be a self-starter with a bias for action & ability to identify and simplify problems
Bachelor s degree, preference for MBA

Experience working on products/programs related to: consumer apps, consumer tech, digital consumer product adoption
Two-sided marketplace experience
