We are currently seeking experienced Lead CCTV Technicians for service and project assignments within a 4-6 hour radius of your location. Candidates must be comfortable with day or night shifts and willing to travel for up to 4 weeks at a time.
This role primarily involves work at commercial retail locations, such as Wal-Mart store fronts, installing new or upgraded CCTV systems and associated devices, including access control and low-voltage infrastructure. The position requires expertise in installing and maintaining commercial CCTV systems, as well as strong troubleshooting skills.
Requirements
Experience installing CCTV systems, Cat 6 cabling, conduit, and networking.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Ability to read blueprints and site maps.
Proficiency in troubleshooting network switches.
Possesses basic telecommunication tools, PPE, and reliable transportation during the training period before a company vehicle is issued.
Knowledge of cabling infrastructure is required.
Responsibilities
Experience in conduit installation is preferred.
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain various CCTV systems.
Perform low-voltage cabling tasks in commercial buildings, including drilling through concrete walls and limited conduit work.
Complete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations to ensure CCTV systems meet customer and contractual requirements.
Collaborate with the Installation Team Lead or Project Manager on-site schedules and ensure timely equipment delivery.
Install, troubleshoot, and repair systems and equipment related to IP Video, IP Physical Access Control, LAN/WAN infrastructure, and wireless LAN.
Conduct tests to verify operational status of newly installed systems and components.
Troubleshoot system installations to confirm proper functionality and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes, as well as insurance and legal requirements.
