  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Altavian Is Expanding Its Industry-leading Expertise In Unmanned Systems By Producing Aircraft And Associated Software In-house. In This Position, The UI Programmer Will

  • Conceptualize around central themes of simplicity and intuitiveness for operation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product management to lay out a clear, intuitive solution for the user’s experience.
  • Execute design stages from initial concept to final productization.

Required
  • Bachelor’s in computer science or related degree with 5 years of experience
  • Nine years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Ability to be approved for security clearance
  • US Citizen (Export Control/ITAR/EAR)
  • Strong portfolio of previous UI experience and hardware integration
  • Creative problem-solving skills and excellent communication
  • Being open and receptive to objective criticism and able to improve upon it
  • Experience working in a diverse work environment with multiple engineering teams
  • Experience working in an agile/scrum development process
  • Proficiency in C#, Linux, C, C++, JavaScript and HTML
  • Excellent design skills
  • Experience integrating directly with hardware and embedded systems.

Preferred
  • Interests in autonomous systems, robotics, avionics, and aviation
  • Experience and proficiency with communications protocols over UDP, TCP, and RS232 Serial
  • Experience and proficiency with cross platform embedded systems control
