The Financial Analyst is responsible for maintaining and analyzing data related to the financial performance of the organization and individual departments. The Analyst is also responsible for compiling and reporting information as requested by Financial Accounting, Internal Audit and management. Must have strong analytical, technological, communication and organizational skills.
Essential Functions
Complete quantitative analysis
Analyze current and past trends in KPI’s including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capital expenditures and highlighting trends/analyzing causes of unexpected variance
Continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools and aid in the development of new models and analysis to support initiatives
Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purpose
Minimum 1+ year/s of experience and knowledge of:
Financial Planning
Percentage of Completion Accounting
Financial Analysis
Revenue
Strategic Quantitative Analysis
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited university required
Minimum 1+ years of Finance or Accounting experience
Previous experience with Epicor software, ERP implementation/upgrade experience and/or ability to learn new software systems
Excel Expert [Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF(S), VBA]
