We are looking to hire an experienced Punch List Technician who is self-sufficient and professional, and takes pride in their work. This role is focused on completing punch lists at The Ritz, ensuring all jobs and finish work are completed to a high standard before units are turned over to the customer.
The ideal candidate must be able to work without supervision and proactively identify and resolve issues before the unit is handed over. Each customer/unit has 60 days to submit remarks for any necessary fixes, so this role requires someone who stays ahead of potential issues to minimize rework.
Responsibilities
Complete all punch list items before unit turnover.
Accurately measure, cut, and shape building materials.
Perform finish work, including cabinetry, fixture installation, and final detailing.
Identify and repair plumbing, flooring, drywall, drywall textures, mudding, and taping issues.
Analyze blueprints and drawings to ensure all work meets project specifications.
Inspect and repair framework structures for damage or structural integrity.
Track and resolve any potential issues before customer move-in.
Perform job site cleanups and maintain an organized work environment.
Install and repair electrical components, including wires, plugs, and switches.
Paint, replace carpets and wooden floors, and handle general repairs as needed.
Ensure fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarms, and emergency exits remain operational.
Work independently with honesty and accountability to ensure a smooth turnover process.
Requirements
Proven experience completing punch lists in luxury residential or high-end environments.
Proven experience in punch list work, renovations, or repair projects.
Ability to work independently without supervision.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
Ability to interpret blueprints and construction plans.
Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks efficiently.
Effective communication and organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits
$35 - $40 per hour
