Position Overview

As a Marketing Specialist, you will support campaign marketing programs and strategies focused on the post-download journey, strategic partnerships, and tentpole event marketing in the global education market.

Your goal is to help students, educators, and key influencers effectively deploy, onboard, and use Autodesk products through engaging experiences. You will collaborate with various marketing teams and customer-facing groups to develop marketing strategies and deliver high-impact campaigns.

Responsibilities

Strategic Partnerships & Marketing Campaigns

  • Support a select number of strategic partner marketing relationships to deliver measurable impact aligned with business and partnership goals.
  • Drive results against co-marketing partnership agreements and maximize engagement.
  • Understand the target audience s needs, behaviors, and demographics to create relevant and impactful campaigns.

Campaign Development & Execution

  • Develop creative campaign concepts (e.g., theme, look & feel) from ideation to completion with agency support.
  • Deliver campaigns, assets, and playbooks for customer-facing teams.
  • Collaborate with Audience Marketing, Field Marketing, Digital, Marketing Operations, Field Engagement, and Strategic Partnerships to align campaign execution.

Performance & Optimization

  • Achieve agreed-upon Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI) success metrics.
  • Analyze data and feedback to refine and optimize campaign strategy.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration.
  • 8+ years of experience developing global marketing campaigns in a large organization.
  • Proven ability to influence large, global, cross-functional teams from planning to execution.
  • Proficiency with marketing tools (Draftr, Marketo, CMT, Allocadia) and data analytics software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing customer-facing campaigns, creative briefs, and strategy presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Knowledge of the Education market.
  • Global perspective and ability to adapt strategies for different regions.
  • Strong brand governance skills to ensure consistency in messaging.
  • Experience in nurturing business relationships and sustaining partnerships.
  • Ability to have difficult prioritization conversations to drive better outcomes.
  • Strategic thinker with concise communication skills.
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills, comfortable with executive audiences.
  • Sense of urgency in tackling critical challenges.
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and experiment with new ideas.
