Role: Staff Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: Remote

Job description:

Client is seeking an experienced full-stack Staff Engineer with 10+ years of experience building high-performance and scalable applications. The ideal candidate is customer focused, adaptable and eager to learn. You will work across the entire stack, contributing to system architecture, API design and UI development while ensuring seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Build frontend applications using React and Angular with TypeScript
    • Design, develop and maintain backend services using GoLang or C#
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to solve complex problems and deliver customer-centric solutions
    • Ensure code quality, performance and reliability through best practices, automated testing, and code reviews
    • Utilize container orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of Azure tools and services
    • Implement observability and monitoring solutions for maintaining system health
    • Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams

Required Qualifications

    • 10+ years of professional software development experience
    • Strong expertise in backend development using GoLang/C#
    • Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks React and Angular with TypeScript/JavaScript
    • Experience building test automation using Cucumber/Cypress
    • Experience in building products using a micro-services architecture and extensible REST APIs
    • Experience building the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems
    • Experience working with Azure Cloud Platform, Docker and Kubernetes
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and infrastructure as code
    • Experience with application monitoring and observability using Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk
    • Strong problem-solving ability with a customer-first mindset
    • Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment

Education

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
