
System Analyst (Testing with ADA Compliance) - LOCAL to MI
Monday - Friday 8 am-5pm
This position may require in-office work for the first1-2 months for onboarding.
Following onboarding, this position requires a hybrid schedule, requiring Monday and Tuesday in-office and remote work Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Interview Process: Virtual Interview via MS Teams video with any 2nd round interviews to be held onsite. Please use laptop and be prepared so share screen if asked. Use of headphones is strongly discouraged. A screenshot photo of candidate will be required for any Teams interviews as well as a vendor present at beginning of interview to validate candidate.
Remote or On-site: Candidates MUST be local at time of submission. Hiring manager is not currently interested in candidates who will need to relocate to accept offer. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Position will be hybrid work schedule with Monday and Tuesdays working in office. Additional onsite training may be required during onboarding

Overview
Job Duties
- Conduct reviews of websites and applications for adherence with the client Digital Standards for Websites and Applications
- Test for digital accessibility using manual and automated tools including screen reader and other assistive technology
- Review for adherence with additional standards including branding
- Perform testing on desktop and mobile devices
- Thoroughly document review results
- Provide results to application support teams and stakeholders and meet with teams to explain results
- Work closely with eMichigan team members to ensure processes are followed and optimized
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Advanced knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA
- Advanced knowledge of digital accessibility testing methodologies
- Advanced skills using assistive technologies, including JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack, and other assistive technologies
- Advanced skills using accessibility evaluation tools and frameworks, including WAVE, Developer Tools, Accessibility Inspector, and other accessibility evaluation tools
- Ability to use a variety of desktop and mobile devices and operating systems (OS), such as laptops, smartphones, tablets, Windows, MacBook, iOS, and Android
- Ability to prepare detailed written documentation, maintain records, and conduct correspondence related to the work
- Ability to communicate technical terminology ata level appropriate to the audience
- Knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act(ADA)
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ARIA
- Multilingual desired
Skills :

- 1 year of testing applications for digital accessibility (preferred 3+ years).
