Oracle SCM Procurement Consultant, you are required to design and rollout Oracle R12 based solutions that will help the client harmonize supply chain processes across different facilities and improve process efficiencies. You will bring consultative skills, business knowledge, and application expertise to help client achieve business results. This role will be mostly remote involving need-based travel to client location.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Oracle SCM Procurement Consultant will be part of project delivery and responsible for the following activities:

  • Responsible for understanding existing solution, business requirements and reporting needs.
  • Carry out fitment analysis against the global solution template with an objective to minimize deviations through site specific solutions.
  • Configure Oracle R12 Procurement applications - PO, iSupplier Portal and iProcurement for the new site in line with the global template.
  • Provide guidance & inputs to client team during data collection & cleansing activities. Work with technical team through various data migration cycles during project execution.
  • Prepare detailed functional design specifications (MD50 & TE40) for any extensions, reports and integrations required for procurement track. Work with technical development team for delivering them.
  • Work collaboratively with business users to walk-through and validate solution iteratively through various formal and informal testing events.
  • Lead user feedback collection, disposition, and remediation activities as part of solution testing phase.
  • Assist with user adoption through training content creation, imparting training and assistance with organization change management

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Strong experience with procurement function for manufacturing companies with deep knowledge of procurement, sourcing, and supply chain processes
  • Should have delivered at least 2 Oracle R12 implementation projects as a procurement track leader covering procurement, advanced procurement, isupplier, iProcurement applications
  • Should possess excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies
  • Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed MS office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) required
  • Ability to engage effectively at the business and technical level, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning to stay current regarding applicable strategies, see the "big picture" as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects
  • Ability to multitask across many different projects and stakeholders both internal and external
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with client resources from lower level to C-suite
