Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft Administrator with expertise in Batch Management to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for PeopleSoft administration, process scheduler configuration, batch job management, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. This role requires hands-on experience in managing PeopleSoft environments, optimizing batch jobs, and ensuring system stability.

Key Responsibilities:

PeopleSoft Administration:

  • Install, configure, and maintain PeopleSoft applications (Finance, HCM, Campus Solutions, etc.).
  • Perform PeopleTools upgrades, patches, and migrations across environments.
  • Manage PeopleSoft WebLogic, Tuxedo, Process Scheduler, and Integration Broker.
  • Work with DBAs and infrastructure teams to optimize system performance.
  • Batch Job Management:
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize PeopleSoft batch jobs to ensure smooth execution.
  • Manage PeopleSoft Process Scheduler, including job queues, distribution, and configurations.
  • Resolve batch job failures, performance bottlenecks, and scheduling conflicts.
  • Automate and optimize batch job scheduling using Control-M, Autosys, or similar tools.
  • Analyze and tune SQL queries, Application Engine processes, and SQR reports for better performance.
  • Support & Troubleshooting:
  • Provide 24x7 production support for critical PeopleSoft batch jobs and system issues.
  • Troubleshoot log files, trace files, PeopleCode, and performance issues.
  • Perform disaster recovery planning and execution for PeopleSoft applications.
  • Work closely with functional, DBA, and security teams to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Required 5+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft Administrator, with a focus on Batch Management.
  • Expertise in PeopleTools, PeopleSoft Process Scheduler, Application Engine, and PeopleCode.
  • Strong experience with batch job scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, Tidal, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle, SQL Server, or other relational databases.
  • Proficiency in PeopleSoft architecture, WebLogic, Tuxedo, and Integration Broker.
  • Ability to troubleshoot performance issues, log files, and process failures.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix shell scripting for automation.
  • Strong understanding of audit, security, and compliance policies related to PeopleSoft.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in PeopleSoft 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.5x.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based PeopleSoft environments (AWS, Azure, OCI).
  • Experience with LDAP, Single Sign-On (SSO), and SSL configurations.
  • Knowledge of ERP integration and third-party job scheduling tools.
