Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field by

Job Description Brown University-affiliated researchers working at Butler Hospital are

seeking to hire a research assistant for a grant-funded, mindfulness

intervention clinical trial for patients with serious mental illness in

outpatient community mental health treatment settings. Responsibilities

include recruiting and tracking research participants, screening electronic

medical records, managing databases, preparing reports, and conducting

research assessments with psychiatric patients. Additional duties include

working with a multidisciplinary team conducting research in a psychiatric

hospital setting. Skills using Microsoft Office, SPSS, and REDCap a plus.

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field required. Experience with

psychology research and/or working with psychiatric patients desirable.
