We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Machine Learning Engineer in the FinTech industry, based in New York. The role involves working closely with both marketing and data science teams to automate and optimize Language Model (LLM) use cases, design and deploy custom solutions, and ensure best practices for production are followed.
Responsibilities:
Work in collaboration with marketing leaders to comprehend their needs and pinpoint potential LLM applications.
Co-design and implement custom LLM solutions that cater to the specific requirements of various divisions.
Liaise with the Data Science team to grasp the optimal way to build and deploy LLM solutions, including the fine-tuning of OpenAI models.
Uphold software best practices to guarantee smooth development, testing, and deployment of LLM solutions.
Stay informed about the latest developments in LLM technologies, and consistently seek ways to incorporate these advancements into our existing solutions.
Create and manage comprehensive documentation, encompassing technical specifications, user guides, and best practices.
Ensure adherence to data privacy and security regulations while working with LLMs.
Offer technical support and training to internal teams as and when required.
Engage with other developers and data scientists within the organization to exchange knowledge, ideas, and best practices.
Requirements
Proficiency in Python programming language is essential
Extensive knowledge and experience in Machine Learning Libraries and Modules (LLM)
Demonstrable experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is mandatory
Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn)
Excellent understanding of machine learning algorithms
Experience in implementing machine learning algorithms in real-world projects
Proven problem-solving skills in the field of Machine Learning
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic FinTech environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently when needed
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly
Demonstrable track record of dealing with complex projects
Strong understanding of statistical analysis
Good knowledge of software engineering best practices.
