We are pleased to announce an exciting full-time opportunity for the position of Business Analyst at our Wayne, NJ location. We are currently looking for a USC (U.S. Citizen) candidate to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders (clients, managers, and users) to capture and document business requirements.
- Analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to gather necessary information.
Documentation:
- Develop and maintain detailed documents like Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and Use Cases.
- Draft user stories and acceptance criteria to guide software development and process changes.
Data Analysis:
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform key business decisions.
- Design reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
Process Modeling:
- Create process maps and flowcharts using tools like BPMN or Visio.
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend optimization strategies.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams, ensuring alignment of project requirements with business goals.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues during the testing phase.
Project Management Support:
- Support project managers in managing timelines, risks, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and assist with resource allocation to ensure deadlines are met.
Change Management:
- Facilitate the transition from old processes to new solutions, supporting end-users through the change process.
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in business analysis or similar roles.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with databases, SQL, or data analytics tools is a plus.
- Tools: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), JIRA, Confluence, or other project management software.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate complex ideas.
- Problem-Solving: A creative and critical approach to solving business challenges.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail in documentation and data analysis.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Relevant certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA are a plus.
