About the Position

This position is responsible for the functional support of the 9.2 PeopleSoft HCM/Financials platform . Key responsibilities include:

  • Requirements gathering , application configuration, end-user support, and testing for ongoing enhancements to the production application.
  • Providing functional expertise and contributing to improvements and enhancements for mission-critical, enterprise-wide information systems.

Requirements

  • PeopleSoft techno-functional knowledge of:
    • HR, Payroll, Commitment Accounting, Position Management/Budgeting
    • Ability to write functional specifications
    • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with business and development teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • End-to-end knowledge of Commitment Accounting and General Ledger Processing , initiating from HCM and interfacing into the FSCM system.
  • Experience with configuring HCM to FSCM Integration Broker service operations to support payroll-to-GL interface.
  • Strong understanding of Position Management and Department Budget business processes from a system perspective.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with end-users to gather business needs and requirements.
  • Assist in analyzing and designing PeopleSoft deliverables based on business requirements.
  • Create and assist in the development of functional specifications .
  • Educate and advise end users on PeopleSoft HR/Payroll/Commitment Accounting functionality and its integration with FSCM.
  • Work closely with technical teams to develop, test, and document enhancements and modifications.
  • Ensure project deliverables align with business requirements .
  • Conduct end-user training and prepare user documentation as needed.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot functional system issues , providing resolution options.
  • Adhere to established methodologies, controls, and quality standards .
  • Work independently with limited direction while also contributing effectively within a team environment .
