Job Description

Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS) is looking for an experienced Senior Human

Resources Manager based in Minnetonka, MN in a hybrid capacity (1-2 days per week remote).

This high impact HR professional will partner with our supply chain to support the success of our

people.

The Senior HR Manager drives engagement within a non-union 400 employee manufacturing

site. They influence leaders and understand both broad business, manufacturing and service

specific challenges to enable a salary and an hourly workforce to meet business objectives.

They act as a subject matter expert providing guidance and direct support for functional areas

such as employee relations, consultation/conflict resolution, policy interpretation and application,

management consultation, talent acquisition, succession planning, workforce data analysis, and

performance appraisal training.

decision-making skills to work with all levels of management and hourly staff to help create a

Key Responsibilities

  • You will guide the development and execution of workforce strategies in

collaboration with the human resources team and operations’ leadership.

  • Ability to develop a deep understanding of the business. You will participate in client

activities to build knowledge of the operational objectives as well as our culture. This

includes attending client meetings to give HR updates while assessing operational

needs.

  • You will look for new opportunities and solutions to deliver HR support in line with

business goals.

  • Support workforce planning while monitoring trends such as turnover to support

clients with staffing challenges. You will work closely with the Talent Acquisition

shared service center and management to identify and remove barriers to filling

positions.

  • You will leverage data to identify opportunities for improvement in a number of key

workforce areas.

  • You will manage local employee relations including conflict resolution, providing

counselling to managers and employees, and conducting interviews. You will work

with managers to coach, train and guide them in regard to employee relations, policy

and procedure interpretation, turnover, employee satisfaction, performance

management, conflict resolution, and legal issues.

Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $_100,000.00-$ 130,000.00 annually. (For bonus eligible positions) This role also includes a 10% annual incentive plan (AIP).

Qualifications

Core Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with 10+ years of HR Experience.
  • Previous experience in water, manufacturing, oil and gas, energy or chemicals

industries is preferable.

  • Strong employee relations experience is required.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced high growth working environment.
  • Solid working knowledge of Federal and local laws for the US as they pertain to

human resources administration, employee relations and investigation compliance.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with and influence an hourly manufacturing population

while provide strong partnership with management.
