Position Summary
The Admissions team is looking for an energetic and outgoing student with a passion for promoting the University on social media to a prospective student target audience. As the Admissions Social Media Ambassador, you should exhibit unwavering authenticity as the face and voice of the Newman University Admissions Department’s online persona.

As the Admissions Social Media Ambassador, you should exhibit unwavering authenticity as the face and voice of the Newman University Admissions Department’s online persona.
Work Performed
- Develop, perform, and produce social media content at the direction of the Admissions Digital Marketing Manager.
- Promote the Newman Brand.
- Create a social strategy to meet Admissions objectives.
- Convey authentic enthusiasm.
- Cover stipulated talking points.
- Schedule and interview current students, faculty, and staff.
- Produce classroom takeovers for various majors and programs.
- Produce Newman University and college-related “How-To” videos.
- Take photos and videos both on and off campus.
- Create creative text content to enhance photo and video content.
- Promote Admissions events, announcements, deadlines, holidays, and scholarships.
- Schedule content publications across social platforms.
- Adhere to Newman University’s social media guidelines.
- Complete University-required trainings, including FERPA and Title IX.
- Contribute to the overall success of the Admissions Office by performing all other duties as assigned.
- Be a full-time Newman University student, enrolled in 12 or more credit hours per semester

- A weekly work schedule will be crafted with the Admissions Digital Marketing Manager consisting of 10-15 hours per week.

- There may be potential for weekend and evening shifts as recruitment events are scheduled.
