  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position Highlights
  • Collaboration: Partner with classroom teachers to support English language development across all subject areas.
  • Individualized Instruction: Provide one-on-one and small group lessons to address the unique needs of ELL students.
  • Classroom Environment: Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning atmosphere where all students can thrive.
  • Behavioral Standards: Establish and maintain clear expectations for student behavior to promote a secure and effective learning environment.
  • Student Assessment: Regularly evaluate student progress and adjust instructional strategies to ensure continuous language development.
  • Plan and Implement Lessons: Develop and execute instructional plans for English Language Learners (ELL), ensuring they meet both school and state guidelines.

Requirements
  • Hold a Florida PEL with an ESL endorsement.
  • Previous experience as an ESL Teacher or relevant role.
  • Experience working with students of diverse language backgrounds.
  • A bachelor”s degree from an accredited university is required. A Master”s degree in TESOL or a related field is a plus.
