Job Title: Devops/ SRE/ Site reliability Engineer

we are seeking a skilled and motivated Onshore DevOps Engineer to support our SRE Project. This role involves working closely with both onshore and offshore teams to ensure the seamless operation of CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and production reliability. The engineer will actively troubleshoot issues, optimize cloud environments, and contribute to automation initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of the SRE Project team, ensuring system stability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to resolve incidents and improve deployment processes.
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Python, and Shell scripting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform services, ensuring high availability.
  • Assist in the monitoring and alerting setup using Grafana to proactively detect issues.
  • Maintain and optimize IAM policies to ensure proper access control and security best practices.
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand requirements, track support tickets, and implement solutions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and contribute to system improvements.
Key Qualifications:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), BigQuery, Git, Python, Shell scripting, and Jenkins.
  • Expertise in CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and deployment best practices.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot cloud-based environments, optimize infrastructure, and resolve production issues.
  • Experience in setting up monitoring solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, or equivalent).
  • Solid understanding of IAM (Identity and Access Management) policies and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced production support environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with teams and clients.
Good to Have Skills:
  • Experience with GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) for container management.
  • Knowledge of SRE principles and incident response best practices.
  • Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure as code tools.

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, with expertise in Google Cloud Platform-based environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience in CI/CD automation, infrastructure management, and troubleshooting cloud-based applications.
