- Sales Manager (B2B) - e-Learning / Corporate L&D Industry
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction and Negotiation:
- Ability to converse and present to CXO-level contacts.
- Independently negotiate with senior management of clients/companies.
- Develop and execute a territory coverage plan.
- Sales Management and Pipeline:
- Achieve assigned business objectives.
- Manage and track qualified opportunities, service levels, and close ratios.
- Generate leads as needed to support revenue goals.
- Track lost opportunities to improve close ratios.
- New Business Development and Lead Generation:
- Proven ‘hunting’ experience in new business development.
- Demonstrated consistency in lead generation and closing deals.
- Drive campaigns, services, and solutions to increase sales.
- Proposal Development:
- Collaborate with Inside Sales, Pre-Sales, and Project teams to develop proposals.
- Respond to Expressions of Interest (EOIs), RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs for international markets.
- Presentation and Negotiation:
- Create and deliver presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and review with potential clients to close deals.
- Account Management:
- Maintain relationships with international clients for repeat business opportunities.
- Pitch new concepts and solutions to existing clients.
- Market Research and Sales Forecasting:
- Study market trends, competitors, and client needs.
- Identify the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience:
- Minimum 7-5 years in B2B sales, specifically in the e-Learning, Corporate L&D, or related industry (preferably for US/Europe markets).
- At least 5 years of experience in a B2B sales role.
- Proven experience in generating leads, closing deals, and managing sales pipelines.
Sales Skills:
- Excellent phone and email marketing skills.
- Experience in selling software and technology solutions to businesses, particularly in the US/Europe markets.
- Negotiation skills and ability to handle client queries effectively.
- Communication:
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to create detailed proposals and responses to client queries.
- Experience working with international clients and handling client relationships.
Market Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of the US/Europe market and the e-Learning industry.
- Ability to study the market and competitors and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Tools:
- Proficient in CRMs and other standard corporate productivity tools.
- Ability to forecast sales targets and use CRM tools for pipeline management.
- Self-Starter and Team Player:
- High energy, self-motivated, reliable, and possesses a strong sales acumen.
- Ability to work as a part of a team and independently when required.
Preferred Skills:
- Communication with US market: Previous experience working with US clients or markets.
- Flexibility in job timings: Willingness to accommodate campaign-related timings.
