The Case Managers are responsible for communicating with key stakeholder including physicians, patient, Work Comp adjustors, occupational nurses on-site and the individual involved of work injuries at the patient’s employer involving a Worker’s Comp claim. Also, responsible for tracking, reporting and documenting the injured employee care as it is related to follow up appointment, return to work status, and scheduling outpatient treatment to all stakeholder on a need to know basis.

EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduate from an accredited college/university

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: An understanding of Worker’s Compensation, drug screening, and OSHA regulations.

Role Specific Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Worker’s Comp case management
  • Documenting in Floyd’s EMR
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with patients and stakeholders
  • Providing important information to Work Comp Adjustors, HR managers, Safety managers, Physicians and Patients
  • Schedule follow up appointments and outpatient treatment
  • Following and tracking throughout the patient cycle of care
