Job Title: UX Designer

Location: Remote (MST work hours)
Duration: Long-term

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Prototype:
    • Create and iterate on user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes in Figma.
  • Executive Collaboration:
    • Present design concepts to executives and incorporate feedback.
  • Stakeholder Alignment:
    • Work with developers, product managers, and SMEs to maintain a cohesive design approach.
  • Style Guide Maintenance:
    • Own and update the program s design system, including colors, typography, iconography, and UI components.
  • Demo & Visual Presentations:
    • Build interactive demos and design infographics, presentations for executives.
  • Development Handoff:
    • Provide design assets, specs, and ensure alignment with developers.
  • User Research & Feedback: (If applicable)
    • Assist in usability testing to validate design decisions.
  • Accessibility Oversight:
    • Ensure WCAG compliance and inclusive design for digital, print, and presentations.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated on industry trends and suggest workflow enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Figma Expertise:
    • Proficiency in components, design systems, interactive prototypes.
  • Design Principles:
    • Strong understanding of responsive design, color theory, typography, and layout.
  • Collaboration:
    • Ability to work in an agile environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Presentation Skills:
    • Clear articulation of design decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Portfolio:
    • Showcasing workflows, mockups, or prototypes.
  • Frontend Familiarity:
    • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for smooth developer handoff.
  • User Testing:
    • Experience with usability testing, user interviews, and data analysis.
  • Visual Storytelling:
    • Ability to create engaging visuals and executive-level presentations.
  • Project & Stakeholder Management:
    • Ability to manage timelines, expectations, and design backlogs.
  • Prototyping & Animation:
    • Experience in interactive prototypes and micro-interactions.
  • Design System & Brand Management:
    • Experience in scaling a design system.

Experience & Education:

  • 3+ years in a UI/UX design role (or similar).
  • Bachelor s degree in design, HCI, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing web/mobile design projects.
