As a data analyst mid in our IT Control group, you’ll bridge the gap between IT and business objectives. In this role, you’ll collaborate with internal customers to grasp their data requirements and provide expert consultation. Through meticulous data analysis, you’ll uncover trends, patterns, and insights, empowering informed business decisions. You’ll present findings and recommendations to stakeholders compellingly, maintaining insightful reports and dashboards, and conducting ad-hoc reporting. Additionally, you’ll analyze large datasets and proactively seek out new data tools and technologies to refine your analytical skills.

Must-have Qualifications

  • A minimum of four years of analytical work experience.
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of three years of analytical work experience.
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of one year analytical work experience.
  • {OR} Successful completion of Progressive's Analyst Boot Camp and Progressive's Internal Analyst Trainee program and a minimum one year analytical work experience.
  • This position requires online pre-employment testing for external candidates.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficient in SQL, with familiarity in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI, and data preparation tools like Alteryx.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive attitude with a strong aptitude for learning new tools and technologies.

Compensation

  • $65,500 - $87,300/year
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 24% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
