About The Role

We're looking for a Fabric Production Assistant to support our production operations, ensuring seamless communication between mills, factories, and customers. This role is crucial in managing purchase contracts, tracking production, maintaining quality standards, and facilitating timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Issue and manage purchase contracts with vendors
  • Oversee mill and customer deliveries, ensuring on-time shipments
  • Maintain color and quality standards for customers
  • Track sample yardage for FIT and PP samples
  • Arrange lab dips, strike-offs, and bulk submits per customer guidelines
  • Communicate approvals with mills and monitor production progress
  • Maintain and update Work in Progress (WIP) reports
  • Assist shipping with bulk routing and monitor vessel schedules
  • Handle claims resolution with sales representatives and customers
  • Support special projects as needed

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Education & Experience: College degree or equivalent experience; 1-2 years in production or a related field
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, data manipulation). Experience with MOD2 is a plus
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, multitasking, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Work Ethic: High energy, organized, and proactive in a fast-paced environment
