We partner with children, adults, and families to foster hope, build life skills, access support systems, and form meaningful relationships. We serve communities across Kern, Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties.
Schedule: 20-25 hours per week with the ability to become full-time if desired. Hours vary depending on client schedule. Evening and weekend availability is needed for this position.
Compensation: $23.50 per hour. If you are bilingual (Spanish or ASL), the starting wage is $23.80 per hour and the pay range for this position is $16.03-$25.24. The pay range is subject to change based on a variety of factors.

- Accompany individuals to their place of work, observe their abilities, and identify any areas for improvement. Provide feedback and assistance to increase productivity and encourage positive work behavior.
- Coach and counsel individuals on workplace issues/concerns, and advocate for them when needed.
- Assist individuals in completing work-related paperwork, such as timecards, time off requests, tax forms, and benefits enrollment.
- Maintain good relationships with employers and workplace supervisors, and act as liaison between employers, workplace supervisors, and individuals.
- Assist in developing and implementing an individualized plan for coaching individuals to work more independently, with the eventual goal of complete self-sufficiency.
- Prior experience supporting or instructing individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required; if you are interested in this opportunity but do not have directly relevant experience, we'd still love to hear from you!
- Ability to coach/train others in a positive way.
- Ability to work independently, including creating own schedule and demonstrating a high level of accountability and dependability.
- Must have reliable transportation for daily travel around the community, which may include visiting multiple sites in one day.
- Culturally aware, acknowledges diverse employee backgrounds, possesses skills to collaborate across cultures, and avoids biased assumptions based on cultural differences.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
