Overview: As a Product Manager specializing in Data Quality, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of our organization's data assets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and execute initiatives aimed at maintaining and improving data quality standards across the entire data lifecycle. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to drive initiatives that enhance the overall effectiveness of our data-driven decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:


Data Quality Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive data quality strategy aligned with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders from various business units to understand data quality requirements and challenges across different domains and systems.
Roadmap Development: Define and prioritize initiatives to address data quality issues, including data profiling, cleansing, enrichment, and monitoring, based on business impact and feasibility.
Product Development: Work closely with engineering teams to translate data quality requirements into actionable development plans, ensuring alignment with architectural principles and technical constraints.
Quality Assurance: Establish and implement data quality metrics, standards, and processes to measure, monitor, and improve the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across all systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence teams to ensure data quality standards are integrated into data pipelines, reports, and analytics workflows.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities related to data quality issues and proactively implement measures to mitigate these risks.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies related to data quality management and recommend enhancements to existing processes and tools.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate regularly with key stakeholders to provide updates on data quality initiatives, solicit feedback, and address concerns or issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in product management or a related role, with a focus on data quality management and Data governance.
Strong understanding of data management principles, including data modeling, ETL processes, data profiling, and data lineage.
Experience with data quality tools and technologies (e.g., Informatica Data Quality, Talend Data Quality, Trifacta, etc.).
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex datasets and identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to data privacy and security (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is a plus.
