Kforce is looking for a Database Administrator IV-DEV for one of their Healthcare clients in Bakersfield, CA.
Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and integrity of the organization's database systems. This includes designing and maintaining databases, ensuring data quality and availability, and leading efforts to optimize database performance and scalability. * Oversee database design, including table structures, data relationships, and performance tuning
* Lead the development and implementation of ETL processes to support business needs
* Conduct reviews of database code, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with industry standards
* Stay current with emerging database technologies and trends and recommend improvements or changes to management
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited school or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field and eight (8) years of progressive experience in a Database Administration or Database programming in a medium to large organization with a structured IT department, preferably in healthcare; Education can be substituted with Programming work experience on a year for year basis
* Or Twelve (12) years of progressive experience in a Database Administration or Database programming experience in a medium to large organization with a structured IT department preferably in healthcare
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off.
