Senior Project Manager- Data Center (Control Center)

Title: Sr. Project Manager Data Center

Location: Long Island NY - Remote

Mode: Fulltime Position

Job Skills:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience managing Data Center projects.
• Proven experience managing Data Center projects from the ground up, including collaboration with general contractors and IT vendors (cabling, video, network, storage).
• 15+ years of experience in large-scale IT Project Management.
• Ability to manage multiple high-visibility IT projects and programs simultaneously.
• Strong vendor and contractor management experience.
• Expertise in risk identification and mitigation strategies.
• Deep understanding of Project Management methodologies and processes.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Construction experience is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead IT efforts in Data Center/Control Center design.
• Review Master Plan findings with stakeholders and refine requirements.
• Summarize and finalize the IT Program Report.
• Develop the initial Program Charter.
• Define contractor roles and IT migration strategies.
• Identify, evaluate, and select external contractors (architects, engineers, etc.).
• Support RFQ/RFP process and contract negotiations.
• Align IT and facility requirements with project goals.
• Monitor design progress, budget, and schedule compliance.
• Develop and execute IT migration strategies.
• Manage project scope, risks, and change control.
• Support migration and decommissioning of legacy systems.
