Title : Project Manager, Global Business Services(GBS)

Location : Remote

Duration : 12+ Months Contract

Job Description:

The Project Manager, GBS, is primarily responsible for leading projects spanning all business units and functions, enterprise-wide. Under general direction, the Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of their assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for all stakeholders. The Project Manager will need to work with cross-functional, global teams and internal GBS leaders to deliver seamless execution. Exceptional business acumen and communication skills are required to ensure business outcomes are delivered according to expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Initiation: Review the business case, clarify goals and approach, scope, resources and budget requirements.

Lead all elements of assigned projects to deliver the stated goals and objectives.

Manage project budgets up to $3M

Execute the Service Transition Playbook. Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of practices and procedures used and recommend changes to improve outcomes.

Align project changes, risks, and dependencies with the overall project portfolio

Negotiate and manage trade-offs between time, cost, and scope.

Produce accurate and timely communications and reporting for all assigned projects

Support governance meetings and reviews

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 4 years of project management experience

Demonstrable experience transitioning business processes and executing transformation projects

Experience working on global projects with internal and external stakeholders

Experience working in a shared services model is preferred

PMP certification. Six Sigma is an advantage.

Conceptual understanding of common business processes

Analytical and problem solving abilities

A high level of collaboration and negotiation skills
