Senior Project Manager

Role:

• Lead the end-to-end migration of the firm s in-house accounting system to Oracle GL, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and compliance requirements.
• Engage with senior leadership and key stakeholders across Finance, Technology, and Risk teams to communicate progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Develop and manage project plans, risk registers, and change management strategies to ensure smooth transition and adoption.
• Collaborate closely with accounting, treasury, and capital markets teams to ensure that financial reporting, reconciliation processes, and P&L structures are accurately implemented in Oracle GL.
• Oversee documentation of migration processes, system configurations, and operational workflows in an agile environment.
• Work with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, Compliance, and external vendors to streamline integration and data migration efforts.
• Ensure that controls, audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines are adhered to during the transition.
• 10+ years of experience in project management within banking or financial services, with a focus on accounting system migration.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale finance system transformation projects, ideally moving from legacy systems to Oracle GL.
• Strong understanding of PNLs, swap trades, and financial reporting structures.
• Expert stakeholder management skills, with experience interfacing with senior executives, technology teams, and regulatory bodies.
• Deep knowledge of capital markets, financial instruments, and general ledger reconciliation processes.
• Experience in Agile methodologies, including documentation best practices in an iterative development environment.
• Knowledge of data migration strategies, financial system integrations, and compliance requirements in a banking environment.
• PMP, Prince2, or Agile certifications
