Our healthcare client is seeking a 100% remote Intermediate Epic Systems Analyst to join their team for a 6+ month contract to hire position.

  • Targeted Start Date: 3/10/25
  • Must complete an Epic Systems Analyst Assessment (requires software download + mic/camera permissions)

Responsibilities and Duties:

This role is responsible for configuring, rolling out, and supporting assigned Willow Epic applications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Business/Systems Analysis: Conducting business and systems analysis to define requirements and document processes.
  • System Design and Implementation: Designing, building, testing, implementing, and supporting Willow Epic software to meet user needs.
  • Problem Resolution: Working with end-users to identify and resolve system issues.
  • Workflow Optimization: Analyzing workflows, evaluating user experience, and creating/maintaining documentation and training materials. Configuring Epic environments to ensure standardized workflows.
  • System Maintenance and Updates: Performing routine maintenance, updating systems with new functionality, and providing end-user support and guidance.
  • Project Management: Contributing to and managing small to medium projects independently, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Conducting root cause analysis and identifying solutions to resolve complex problems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree.
  • 3-5+ years of systems administration experience within one or more Epic modules.
  • Epic Application Certification/Accreditation.
  • Pharmacy experience
  • Ability to handle analysis, design, system configuration, and testing tasks.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Knowledge of project management principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare, or a relevant field; 2 years relevant work experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • 3 years healthcare industry experience.
  • Epic Willow Inpatient Certification/Accreditation.
