We are seeking an experienced ERP Migration Specialist to lead the adaptation and migration process from LINQ ERP to a modern ERP system. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in both the functional and technical aspects of ERP systems, as well as best practices in ERP migration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Functional & Business Process Expertise
- Manage and support ERP systems across key business areas:
- Financial Management: General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Budgeting
- Payroll & HR: HRIS, Payroll Processing, Benefits Administration
- Procurement & Supply Chain: Purchase Orders, Vendor Management, Contract Management
- Fixed Assets & Inventory Management
- Project Accounting & Grant Management
- State & Compliance Reporting (especially in public sector or educational institutions)
- Manage and support ERP systems across key business areas:
- ERP Migration & Implementation Skills
- Lead the migration from legacy ERP systems (LINQ) to modern platforms like SAP, Oracle, Workday, or Dynamics 365.
- Perform business process analysis and optimization, ensuring current workflows are efficiently integrated into the new system.
- Develop RFPs, define system requirements, and manage vendor selection for the new ERP system.
- Handle data migration and ETL processes, leveraging SQL, ETL tools, and data mapping techniques.
- Oversee user training and change management processes to ensure smooth system adoption and minimize disruptions.
- Technical Skills (Customization & Integration)
- Utilize LINQ ERP experience to understand legacy modules and reporting capabilities.
- Apply SQL and database management skills for data extraction, migration, and optimization.
- Customize and script business logic both in legacy and new ERP systems for enhanced functionality.
- Manage ERP integrations with third-party applications such as HR/payroll systems and finance tools.
- Leverage cloud-based ERP solutions like Workday, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or SAP S/4HANA for the new system deployment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in ERP migrations, specifically transitioning from legacy systems to modern ERP platforms.
- Strong background in functional areas such as Financial Management, HR, Procurement, and Compliance Reporting.
- Expertise in SQL, data migration, and ERP system integrations.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills with experience in training end-users and managing change.
