Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and evaluate pharmacy claims data and generate comprehensive reports.
- Conduct retrospective reviews of drug use to ensure compliance and efficacy.
- Utilize evidence-based methodologies to conduct evaluations of new drugs and formulate recommendations.
- Monitor and respond to federal and state regulatory requirements, ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address pharmacy benefit concerns.

- If assigned, evaluate drug therapy regimens and develop personalized treatment plans, along with providing medication therapy management (MTM) services.

- In-depth knowledge of managed care principles, pharmacy benefit management, and pharmaceutical reimbursement.
- Proficient understanding of clinical pharmaceutical practices.
- Ability to critically evaluate clinical literature and apply principles of evidence-based medicine.
- Competence in designing and reviewing pharmacy claims analysis reports.
- Exceptional organizational, project management, and time management capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent customer service abilities.
- Capacity to work effectively with diverse teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
- Graduate from an accredited pharmacy program.
- Must hold a current (or be eligible for) unrestricted pharmacist license in Oregon.
- Possess advanced pharmacy training such as PharmD, residency, fellowship, board certification, or a master’s degree.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a clinical pharmacist in pharmaceutical care management, which can include residency experience.

- Bonus Opportunity: 5% bonus target.
