High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be fluent in Spanish, preferably certified as a medical interpreter. Previous healthcare experience preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Description Of Duties

  • Accompany provider into the counseling visit with the patient and accurately interpret the counseling session between the patient and provider.
  • Perform any ancillary duties required by the provider during and after the visit.
  • When not working as an interpreter, will perform duties as assigned by the care manager coordinator which could include but are not limited to:
  • Work on reports
  • Assist staff in the clinic with miscellaneous tasks and processes.
