NMC is currently recruiting for a Patient Access Rep. This position is a full-time (80 hours bi-weekly) position, hours are 0545-1930 and every 4th weekend.
Other: Basic computer and typing skills required. Must be detail oriented, organized, be able to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities and prioritize appropriately, have basic math skills to collect money and make change, and have strong communication skills to communicate with people in a professional and tactful manner.

- JOB SUMMARY:
- The Patient Access Representative – Clinic performs ambulatory and outpatient scheduling, pre-registration, registration, payer eligibility, and financial screening functions, specifically in an Ambulatory Clinic/Hospital Department setting. Works to assist patients and families with meeting financial requirements. Performs medical record management. Completes check-out process. Estimates and collects point of service payments from patients. Provides exceptional patient-focused customer service. Communicates effectively to service delivery area(s) to maximize patient flow and customer service.
- PREREQUISITES
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
